11/10/08: Two days ago we ventured out to north vernon for yet another dirt race. The enduro was here. I was very excited when we got there. Scott had the car all ready. Jess brought his car and was just as ready as I was. there were about 25 cars and I started about 12th and jess started about 8th. We didn't get any hot laps, and the race was either and hour or 100 laps. whichever came first. So on the start of the race dust was everywhere because the track wasnt that wet. But I started making my way up to the front. I was passing cars left and right and I couldnt tell if they were lapped cars or cars I was just passing. There were many cautions and the race seemed like it was going by fast. There was one car that I was lapping that was very slow and all over the track. Coming down the back stretch I was on the outside of him and he saw me there, so going into three and four I was on the high side and he decided not to turn, I was all up in the lose stuff and when I tried to hit the brakes I wouldnt stop. So I hit the wall as did he. His car didnt move and I notced that he has a busted tire and his radiator was busted. So I tried to restart my car but all it did was crank. Then I heard a big boom and I saw flames coming from under the hood. So as quick as I could I got out of the car. The tow truck quickly came and put the fire out. I busted a left fromt so they pushed me to the middle of the track. I asked them if they could push me back to the pits so I could change the tire but they wouldnt let me. So when we came back in we found out that the plastic fuel lines burnt causing the fire. Scotts replacing them with metal lines so it doesnt happen again. Oh, I was running 4th with 40 to go. I was so mad because I know I could of done better. Jess was also doing very good. He was running 3rd but his upper a-frame on the left side broke. But oh well, i'm looking forward to racing more dirt next year(:

11/3/08: Well this past Saturday we went up to North Vernon to race at Twin Cities Speedway. It was my first time back to a dirt track since gokarts. I was very excited to finially get back on dirt. I raced my new dodge neon which we got for this track. There was a 100 lap enduro scheduled for sautrday but it got moved back to next saturday so we went up as a sort of practice run to see how I would do. I only got about 5 hot laps but in the heat I finished last because I got punted and almost hit the wall. But in the feature I started 18th out of 25. There were many cautions in the 15 lap feature, and I had a car flip right infront of me that I avoided, but I ended up finishing 10th. I was very happy where I finished with it being my first time in about 5 years being back on dirt. Im very excited for this comming Saturday. Gates open at noon, racing starts at 2.

10/13/08: Friday I didn't go to school, and we left ohio about 10:00 to head up to winchester. When we got there we worked on the car for a little, put roll bar padding in it, and my new mirror. After that we loaded it up with stuff and I drove it in the track. The first practice I was a little nervous because it was the first time that I had been out with that car. We still didn't know what gear I would have to run it in because its a 4 cylinder. So my first practice I tried it out in second. It worked perfectly. The car felt good. I was excited becasuse I actually had a car that ran! In the heat I layed back because I wanted to make it to the feature. In the feautre I started 7th row inside. On the start we went 3 wide into turn one, with me on the bottom, and jess was on the outside of me. I did a good job of not hitting him. But I settled down and started catching up to people. My car felt really good, and I could go in the turns without touching the brake. I felt like I was running really good, a couple more laps and I would of had the car infront of me, but I finished 9th out of 23. Not bad at all! Jess finished 4th and Tim finished 3rd. After the races we all went back to the camp sight and hung out and partied. It was a really fun weekend!

10/9/08: Well, working all last weekend and this week we got the neon finished and ready for winchester tomorrow. Thanks to the help of doug, jess, kenny, and mark its ready to go! were gonna be up at winchester friday saturday and sunday for the races. its the 400 you should come up!

9/22/08: Friday we went up to Anderson to race. I raced both cars. We had to leave when my mom got off of work. We left here about 3:30 and got there just in time for qualifying. I qualified 4th in the minicup out of 10, and about 15th out of 20 in the fwd. In the heat for the fwd I started tenth and made it up to second, but got passed. I finished second because the second place car went over their quailfying time for 3 laps. I went over 2 laps in ten laps, and i didnt want to risk that in the feaure and getting dq'ed so I opted to start on the tale. From the tale I made it up to 10th, but on a caution with about 6 laps to go the car wansnt running right so I pulled it to the middle because I didnt want to risk tearing up anybodys car because it was championship night. In the minicup feature I started outside pole and finished second. Saturday we came back up because it was a points race for the minicups, and im running for the campionship. But it was a short day. We drew for starting positions, I drew a 5 out of 6. In the heat I started second to last and finished second. It was a very close finish. And in the feaure I won. So overall it was a pretty good weekend. Next weekend we'll be up at Mt.lawn all weekend.

9/3/08: Well this weekend was a BIG one! Saturday was the championship 50 lapper at Mt.Lawn. We started out going to Winchester and dropping the trailer because it had Jess's car in it for the Stock Car Festival Sunday and Monday at Winchester. So we were at Winchester till about 3:30 then we left for Mt.Lawn. Scott had got some new tires for my car because my old ones were basically shot. So he ordered softer, smaller tires. He said that they would pull the car off the sort turn better. So the first practice it was very lose so I came in and asked him to tighten the car up a little bit. He did and the next practice when I went out it was still lose. I was using my brakes alot because the tires made the car very lose. So coming out of 2 i felt something click and my car started smoking. I started hiting my brakes and I noticed I didnt have any. So I shut the car off and went into the grass off the short turn so I didnt hit the wall. I got towed in with the wrecker and we figured out that the right front hub bearing broke. So steve went to auto zone and got some new parts to fix it. When he got back they were all done with qualifying so they let me quickly qualify. I started outside pole of the fast heat. I had second for a couple laps, but they got around me so I brought up the tale. In the feature I started 9th row outside. I was running a great race but with about 20 laps to go there was a spin in 3. I avoided the wreck, but the person infront of me decided to stop suddenly. I didnt have time to slow down so I hit him and wrecked the car bad. When we got the car back to the pits we looked at it and scott said that I probably wouldnt be racing. So we went back to Winchester and sat by the fire. Kristyn and I camped and my Mom and Steve went back to the track. Sunday Scott called and said he was fixing the car and he would probably have it done and at the track in time for the feaure. So it was a long day of waiting but he made it to the track with about a half hour till the feature. It didnt have fenders, a bumper or a hood but it was still in one piece and fixed. For the feature I started on the tale. On the start I layed back because I didnt want to bump anybody and destroy the radiator. Well going into one I saw somebody spin. I started slowing down but the person behind me bumped me, and continued to push me into the wreck. I hit the outside wall hard and rolled down the track. I got tboned in the drivers side. I got out of the car with only my right arm huring. The car wouldnt start so we had to tow it back to the pit. Scott said that he could fix it So he took it home and pulled another allnighter. And he was at the track Monday when gates open. In the practice we put the new tires back on the car and it slowed the car up big time. It felt like I was pulling a boat. So we put the other tires back on for the feaure. I started the tale again. I layed back big time this time. I moved up and passed a couple cars and ended up finishing about 12th out of 18. So not that bad for wrecking both nights before. When I got home I was so tired so I went straight to bed because my first day of school was the next day.

8/24/08: Yesterday we made the trip back up to Mtlawn. We were racing both cars and I was ready to get back there and race! So in practice both cars felt pretty good. In quailfying I quaified 5th row inside. They were doing features only in hornets, thunder cars and late models because it was fan appreciation night. But minicups got a heat. So in the heat I started second row inside. I made my way to the front and won the heat. In the feaure I started on the tale, made my way to the front, and won another feaure. In the fwd feature I made my way to the front and ran 4th for a couple laps but some people got around me. At the end of the race we think I finished 9th. After the minicup heat all the cars made there way to the track for Fan Appreciation Night. Where all the fans come down and can talk to the drivers and get there autographs. I was standing by my minicup and Id say about 150 people came over to get my autograph. I ran out of autograph cards so Steve had to go back to the van and get some more. I want to thank everybody who go to mtlawn and watch me race, and believe I can do it!

8/24/08: Friday night at Kilkare we had an IKO race. It was the school bus race. It was our third attepmt to get it in. The weather seemed nice and looked like we were going to get it in. When we got to the track we didnt have to change anything on the car because it was still set up from the previous sunday. So in practice the car seemed really fast. When it was time to quailfy I was the first to quailfy. I had pole all throughout qualifying until Cole quailfied one tenth faster than me. So that put me second. They inverted 6 so that put me inside third row back. It was features only that night because they had alot of extra stuff going on. After a few cautions, that one ended up putting cole out of the race, I raced up to first place and won my first feature with IKO. I couldnt of asked to win a better race because my brother was there watching me, alot of family, the grandsstands were packed, and some people from Doran Racing were there. Thanks to all the people who came out so support me!

8/21/08: On Wednesday steve, his parents and i took off for bristol. We dropped steves parent off in Charleston WV, and steve and I drove on to bristol for the hooters pro cup, and craftsman truck race. It was my first time being at bristol. They were 2 great races!

8/21/08: Last weekend was a busy weekend. Friday night we raced at KilKare. I did pretty good. Qualified 3rd out of about 10. I finished third in the heat. The feature there were alot of cautions, but I ended up finishing 3rd. On saturday, it was the first time all year that we didnt go to mt. lawn. But I raced 6 races on saturday. 2 in open, 2 in future stars, and 2 in my fwd. Overall it was a good day. I finished 3rd and 6th in future stars, 5th and 3rd in open, and 6th and 3rd in my fwd. Not bad at all in my fwd for it being only my second time there on a race day. I ende dup bringing home 2 3rd place trophys that day, and 85 dollars.

8/11/08: Yesterday CRA raced up at Winchester Speedway. We took my FWD up there to hopefully race. I really wanted to but my mom said that depends on how practice goes, and depending on that she would decide if I could race or not. So practice went well. My first time out on the track I was SO nervous but at the end of practice I was okay. My mom said I could run the heat but she still had to decide on the feature. I was supposed to start outside pole in the second heat. My mom really didnt want me to start there, but I did. But I didnt want to make her mad so I started on the tale. In an 8 lap race I came from 9th to 6th. Not bad for it being my third time on the track. My mom said I could race the feature so I started the tale, 19th, and a 20 lap race I finished 11th. I really like the track, and hope to race Labor Day Weekend in the Stock Car Festival!

8/11/08: Saturday I raced at Mt.Lawn in my FWD and Minicup again. Practice went good in both cars. I qualified 7th out of 17. I started second row inside in the fast heat, and finished last. In the minicup I qualified 1st out of 5. We weighed cars and i weighed 714, 14 pounds heavy. In the minicup heat I took off at that start and won the heat. In the fwd feature I started 6th row back inside. It was a good race, caution free. We think I finished 6th. In the minicup feature I started on the pole again and won the race. Third feature this year.

7/27/08: Yesterday I raced at Mt.Lawn in my FWD and Minicup. When we got to the track we changed my minicup from the Kilkare setup to the Mt.Lawn setup. In practice both cars felt very good. We put all new injectors in the fwd and it felt even faster. In qualifying I qualified 6th out of 13 I think. In the minicup heat I started inside second row. I quickly made my way to the front and led all race to capture the win. In the fwd heat I started outside first row in the fast heat. I was up front for a while but the quickly passed me. I sorta stayed up with them, but they never really got away from me. I ended up finishing 5th out of 6. In the minicup feature it was a total inversion so I started on the tale. When the green flag dropped I quickly made my way to the front. There was an opening inbetween 2 other cars so I tried to make it 3 wide going into one but it didnt work too well so I came out third. I quickly passed for second gaining on the first place car that was about 10 car lengths away. In about 5 laps I had cought him. It took me a couple laps to get around him but I finially did. And that took me to my second feature win. So in the fwd feature I started 4th row back outside. The start was pretty good but the faster cars had made there way around me. Avoiding some cautions I finished the feature 6th out of 13. Not too bad. Next weekend were racing the FWD and Minicup again on saturday at Mt.Lawn then going to Winchester on sunday.

7/27/08: Yesterday I raced at Mt.Lawn. In the first practice the car had a bad injector. So we put a new one just in time for the second practice. That practice the car felt really good, and fast. So in qualifying I qualified 8th out of 15. I started the tale of the slow heat, and made my way all the way to second. So in the feature I started 4th row back, inside. On the start I made my way around some people. The outside line was really working for me, but down in 3 somebody spun infront of me, and I could of avoided him but somebody behind me hit me into him. I backed up and went to the tale. I thought the car was fine so I didnt pull in. I thought it was just a light hit. So on the restart the car wouldnt go, and felt like it had a bad injector again. So I just pulled in and took the car to the tralier. When I got back the car started overheating and smoking. When I got out of the car the whole front was hit bad. Scott said that the radiator had no water in it, and the fan was shoved into the radiator, so it couldnt cool the motor, so it overheated. Thats why it wouldnt go. So scott is going to try to fix it by next saturday.

7/21/08: Well, Saturday as usuall we went up to Mt. Lawn to race. We missed my first practice session, so in the second one we had the falken tires on because we had yet to run them, and we raced Kil-Kare the next day, and we wanted to make sure nothing rubbed. So when I came in the car felt really good. So we put the other tires on and I went out to quallify. I quallifed 10th fastest. So that put me third row back, outside. On the start of the race I settled in 5th. But by the end of the race I worked my way up to 3rd. So in the feature I was running really good. I had worked my way up to 10th. But on a restart the car wouldnt go, so I shifted down into first, reved it up, and put it back in second. It still did it. So after one lap I came in, and scott said it was an injector. So we pushed it back to the trailer. Back at the pits we found one bad injector, so we put a new one in, and switched the tires for Kil-Kare the next day. We got home about 3am sunday morning and got back up and left at 8 for Kil-Kare. I was sorta nervous because it would be my first race at Kil-Kare in my FWD with other cars. But I knew it could handle it. So in practice both cars felt great. So in qualifying in my minicup I qualified 4th out of 12. And in the FWD it started doing the same thing it was doing at Mt. Lawn the night before. So i pulled it in and scott found another bad injector. So in my first feature in the minicup (we ran double 25 lap features, no heats) they pulled a 4, so I started on the pole. At the start I dropped down into second. About half way in, after avoiding a couple wrecks I was in third. Then a caution came out, and I had a car the qualified quicker than me right behind me. So coming out of four, on the restart the car wouldnt go. So I pulled it in the middle of the track and the right front start smoking real bad. So I got out of the car and looked everything over. Nothing looked broke, so when the race was over I pulled it back in. We put it on the stand, and took off the right front, and the inside of the wheel was broke off. We thought a lugnut got lodged up in there and broke it. So we switched right fronts and was ready to go again. So in the first feature in the FWD I started on the tale. On the start the car felt pretty good, but then it started acting up again. So I was fed up with it, and pulled it in the pits and put it on the trailer. So in the last race for the minicup I started 6th. The race went good, I avoided a couple wrecks, and ended up finishing 4th. The next IKO race is Friday the 25th at Kil-Kare.

7/17/08: Yesterday we went up to the Delaware County Fair to race my fwd. It is a little small dirt track. It was my first time ever on dirt in a full size car. I raced gokarts for a couple years on dirt, and really liked it, so i was excited to get on dirt again. I got one practice and it was a little different. But I felt like I could do it. So in the heat I was supposed to start inside tale, but pulling up to line up I noticed I didn't have any power steering. No problem to race like that, but I wanted to make sure that everything was okay, so terry got under the car and noticed it was pouring power steering fluid out, we decided that we didnt want to burn up the pump, so I missed my race. With the help of Ron Humes we got it fixed. I was supposed to start outside pole, but i didnt feel comfortable starting ont the front row in my first race, so I started the tale. We started 6 cars, only finishing 3. I finished second, and got a tropy and 50 dollars. It was a fun experience, and I want to do it again soon.

7/13/08: On Friday we went up to Anderson to run my minicup and fwd. I had raced my minicup there once last year, and did pretty good, and had a good feel for the track. So for the first practice session both cars felt great. I qualified 9th of 24 in the fwd. Not too bad for it being my first time there in it. So I started 9th of 12 in the fast heat. I quickly jumped in the lead, leading the whole race, and winning. I was so happy. In the minicup heat I got stuck behind some cars and ended up finishing 4th of 9. So in the feature I started 9th. I quickly jumped in the lead, leading about half the race, but the brakes started sticking, so I ended up 4th. Not bad at all. In the minicup feature I started on the back row. I had kind of a bad start, and 4 of the cars took off. I was never able to catch up to them, but they never pulled away. I was hoping for a caution so I could catch up to them, but one never came out. So I ended up 5th. The next day we went to Mt. Lawn. We knew it was supposed to race. Practice felt pretty good in both cars. So for the minicup heat I led a couple laps of it but then one car passed me. I ended up second. Then it started pouring and it never let up, so the race got canceled.

7/4/08: Happy 4th! Today we were supposed to race at Kil-Kare, but they rained out. So Steve and I washed his wrecker, got candy, and were in a parade. Tomorrow we're racing at Mt.Lawn.

7/3/08: Yesterday Steve, My Mom, Kyle, Kristyn, and me went to the SportsDrome to race my fwd. We got there about 30 minutes early to fill out any paperwork that needed to be filled out. Once we did that, and got in the pits, I got in the car, and went out to practice. The car felt very fast. There was only 8 of us there, and they split us into 2 heats. I was supposed to start the second heat, inside second row. But one car didn't start, so I started outside front row. From the start I took the lead, but I got black flagged. When I was pulling in one of the track officals said I was leaking gas, that was it. So we fixed it so it wouldn't leak gas. So for the feature I started outside first row. From the start 2 people got around me, but in time I got back around them. In 20 laps, I lapped the whole field but the second place car. Overall I was about 2 seconds faster than everybody. Not bad at all for it being my first time at the track.

6/29/08: Well last night was a very very good night for us. When we got to the track we had to change the minicup from the kilkare setup to the mt. lawn setup. So when it was time for practice in the hornet, I got in it to start it, but it wouldn't start. We think they key might of got left on, so that killed the battery completley. So we tried to jump it, but it wouldn't work. So we hooked it up to the charger, and let it charge for a little bit. Mean while, I went out to practice in the minicup. The car felt pretty good, but it was a little lose coming off, but lose is fast, and I can drive a lose car, so it was all good, I felt comfortable in it. When it was time to qualify, I was first out. The car cut out once or twice, so I didn't have a very good time. So that put me in the third heat, outside 4th row. From the start of the heat my car felt very fast. I got held up by a couple of people, So I went to the outside and quickly passed them. With about 3 laps to go I took the lead, and won the heat. I was so happy. But before that I had my minicup heat. I started second row inside, of 6 cars. It took me a couple laps for the car to come to me, but once it did it felt very fast. I got to the front, and took the lead and the checkered. That was my second win in the minicup. So in the feature, that put me on the tale, since I had won. With about 5 laps in the race, I took over the lead, and slowly started walking away. I won the feature of the minicup race. Three for three. I thought it was an amazing night. So for the hornet feature, I started 4th row inside. On the start of the race the car wouldn't go. It was cutting out alot. So once everyone passed me, I slowed down a little, put it up into neutral, reved it up, and put it back in gear, but it was still doing it. So I pulled in, and scott said it was loading up on gas, so he told me not to risk wrecking it, so we pulled it back and parked it. Overlall it was a great night. 3 for 4.

6/22/08: On our way up to Mt.Lawn yesterday, we went through some rain. But when we got there the skies looked like they were clearing up. So waiting for scott to get there, we went out on the track, and helped to dry it up. By practice the skies were getting a little darker. I watched the first practice, and went out the second. My car was amazingly fast. So by qualifying it had started sprinkling a little. They got the thunder cars and late models in. But not the hornets. It started pouring, So they called it off. Hopefully my car will be just as fast next week, as will my minicup.

6/21/08: Well, Friday night was our first IKO points race. We finially got it in, it was our 5th try. It was the Ray Hannah Memorial. We had 7 cars. When we got there, we had to change the whole car from the mt.lawn setup, to the kilkare set up. So in the heat I started second row outside. at the start of the race i settled into fourth. But by the end of the race I had passed someone, and finished third. So in the feature I started second row inside. At the start of the race, me and 2 other people went 3 wide into turn one, with me in the middle. Me and the person on the inside got together a little, so the peroson on the outside got around us. So that put me in fifth. By the end of the race I finished thrid. I hoped to finish in the top 3 for my dads race, and i did (:

6/14/08: With being rained out last friday and saturday, last night was a great night. I raced both the minicup and fwd. When we got to the track, we had to change the carb on the miniup to the open carb, while scott was doing that, i was measuring, and changing my tires, putting the new sumotos on. In practice the fwd seemed pretty fast, both sessions. And the minicup was also fast too. So in qualifying, the car cut out coming out of turn 4, so i qualified a 21.18, so that put me 16th out of 22. I was in the second heat, first row outside. I took the lead, but got supn out. No caution was thrown, so I finished last. In the heat for the minicup, I started second row inside, out of 4. there was 8 so they put us in 2 heats. When the green flag dropped I made a risky move, and went inbetween the 2 front row cars, we went 3 wide, but coming out of the turn I took the lead, It stayed that way all race, and I won, So I won my first minicup race! (: For the feature of the fwd I started 5th row inside. Going into turn one, right infront of the start finish line, I got a flat tire and supn out, luckly everyone behind me avoided me. So they pulled me in the pits and changed my tire. When they were doing that they had another caution, so I wasn't yet a lap down. I got back out there and started the tale. There were many cautions, some infront of me that I did a good job avoiding. So overall we think I finished 8th. So in the minicup feature I started inside tale. Quickly I made it to second. It took me a couple laps to get around another car. But when I took the lead, I led for about 15 laps. The 7 was right behind me. I was trying my best to hit my marks, and go in the turns right. But with 3 laps to go we got a caution, and on the start the 7 jumped me and got around me. I got back to the outisde of him, but in the turns he was pushing me up the track, So I had to settle with second. That was by far the best night with my minicup ever. After the race the 7 came over and told me excellent race, and that that was the hardest he's ever had to race.

6/1/08: Well, last night we finially tore in the car. It has some dents in it, and actually looks like a race car. Practice was going good. We took the car up to kilkare on thrusay to see if scott had fixed it, so it would stay running witout overheating. That was a success. So in practice I did good, no cutting out or overheating. So in qualifying I qualified 16th out of 26 I think. So that put me on the pole of the second heat. I felt pretty comfortable starting there. So I led for about one lap, but then going into turn one on the second lap, a car got under me, and sput me out. All the cars avoided me, so that was good. But I went to the tale, but someone was behind me? I don't know why, but coming around the fourth turn on the finial lap, I made the turn to wide, and got a little lose, and that car got around me. So in the feature I was Scheduled to start 6th row inside. I still didn't feel comfortable starting there with all the faster cars behind me. So I opted to start the tale. Everything was going good, But the leaders started to lap me, and getting ready to go into turn four, the same car the spu me out before spun me out again. So I wasn't too happy about that. But I did good in something else. I raced a minicup. It wasn't mine. We were going to bring mine, but coming home from kilkare on thursday, we burned up the fuel pump in the big van, and thats the van that we use to haul the big trailer, so we couldn't take it. But The Central Indiana MiniCups were there, and they had a car without a driver, and said I could race it if I wanted to. Of course I said yes, So scott, my mom, and I went over to see if I fit good in the car. I did. So in the heat I started second row outside. On about the first lap I passed for third. I stayed there all race, finishing there. So in the heat I started Second. I quickly I took the lead. I led unitl the half way point I got passed. I stayed up with him, but overal I finished second. When I got back in the pits, steve was like, Courtney! You're not supposed to beat the guy that owns the car. haha

5/25/08: Well, last night started good. Hot laps we put a new set of tires on the car, some softer, smaller tires. So it came off the turns better. So hot laps went really good. Then in qualifying I qualified 12th out of 29. So I started third in the second heat. At the start of the heat, the car wouldn't go. I was a whole two seconds slower than qualifying and practice. Scott looked at it after the race, and said it had no water in it, and it was overheating. So we put more water in it, and put a racing cap on the radiator. So for the feature, I was supposed to start sixth row inside, but I still didn't feel comfortable starting in the middle with the faster cars behind me. So I opted to start the tale. After about 2 cautions, I came in because the car was steaming. Then I tried to start it, but it wouldn't. So I didn't finish the feature. When we got back to the pit, and let the car cool off for a little, scott changed the computer, and it started right up. So hopefully we'll have better luck next week.

5/11/08: Well, last night was both a good night, and a bad night. I was racing my FWD car. We got to Mt. Lawn, and made the first practice session. But waiting in line for the second practice session the car wouldn't stay running, like the car was getting too much gas. So we missed the second practice session. But I felt like I knew the track pretty well, so I felt okay. Durring the drivers meeting, Scott and Terry were back trying to get the car fixed. So waiting in line for my qualifying session, we thought we fixed it, but it started doing it again. I tried to get a running start out on the track, but it didn't work to well, I broke down a couple feet on the track. So we went back in the pits trying to figure out what was wrong. Now we thought it was the car overheating like when it gets to a certain temperature, somthing turns off. So thinking it was that, we figured we fixed it. So I had to start last in the third heat of the FWD's. So right infront of the finish line, on the green flag lap, it stalled. So I had to get pushed back into the pits. With the help of the HUMES racing team, we finally figured out it was the computer in the car, giving the engine too much fuel. So they drove 20 minutes back to their house, and brought us back a different one. So in the feature, I had to start the tale of a 22 car field. The race was so awesome! but scary at time too. I finially passed on the outside, a couple tims. On the white flag lap, coming out of turn 4, the car cut out, I was holding down the gas, but it just wouldn't go. So I let off the gas, and got back on it, and it went. Two cars got around me, but I ended passing one back, and almsot passing the other one. All in all i finished 12th out of 23. Not bad at all for my first feature, with 22 cars. OH, and there wasn't a scratch on the car when the race was over.

5/4/08: Well, last night was going good till my mini cup feature. I qualified 12th fastest out of 22 cars with my fwd. and in the heat I started third. I got spun, so I finished last. In the feature I was planned to start fifth row back, inside. In my minicup heat I started outside pole, and finished third. They decided to run the minicup feature fist. So they inverted the whole field, and I started third to last. They had to restart the race 2 times because of cautions. So on the third try we were coming off of one, going into two, and I got clipped in the rear, which spun me and sent me flying into the wall. I hit really hard on the drivers side. The ambulance came out, and I was complaining that my right shoulder, right side under my ribs, my lower back, and head was hurting. So when they got me out of the car, and in the ambulance they said it was up to my mom if she wanted me to go to the hospital. She said yes, better safe than sorry. So when we got to the hospital it was about 9:45. The nurses got me off the stretcher, and in a hospital bed. I layed there for a little bit till the doctor came in, and told me he wanted me to get 2 cat scans and 3 xrays, to make sure everything was okay. So they hooked me up to and IV. I think that was the scariest part. I'm deathly afraid of needles, so I was panicking. They finally got it hooked up, and they put dye in me for the cat scans. Everything came back fine, and the gave me some pain medicine and said I was free to go. We left the hospital at about 1:00 am. I have red marks on my shoulders from the hans. thank got I had that on. Scott and his brother were there at the hospital, and they said my car had heavy damage. The fuel cell was dented, the exhaust was broken, So basically i need a rear clip. We're going to try and fix it before Friday, my first points race for IKO, and its also my dads memorial race. So thanks to everybody that helped, and were worried about me. I'm pretty much okay, except I'm really hurting today. But I have some pain medicine. So hopefully you'll see me at Mt. Lawn next Saturday racing my FWD.

4/22/08: Again, sorry for such the long wait on the updates, I promise I'll get back to updating it more often. But my first race was rained out. That was the Ray Hannah Memorial Race, but now my next race, May 9th, is the Ray Hannah Memorial Race. Last Saturday we went up to Mt. Lawn to practice my FWD car. It was the first time I had been out on a track with it. I think I did pretty well. I was about only a second off the other FWD's, or as they're known there, hornets. I think I figured out the track pretty well, thanks to the help of Soctt, and all the other people there. I'm looking foward to my first race, May 3rd(hopefully) I have a sotball tournament that day, but hopefully that will get done soon, so we can leave for the track, but if not, my first race with the FWD is May 9th. I've been REALLY busy with softball. Every week since the month's started, we've had 3 games a week. This week we have 4. So, stay tuned for more updates!

3/27/08: Sorry for such the long break in updating. We've just been so busy. The Cincinnati car show went well. Both my Minicup and FWD got Best in class. Yesterday, Steve, my friend Kristyn, and myself moved my Minicup into the Miami Valley Mall in Piqua. I'll be there all day Saturday and Sunday. ALSO!, my first race is April 11th. In just 14 days!!! I'm so excited!

Courtney Hannah Racing Search for 2008 Sponsors.

Hi, my name is Courtney Hannah. I am 14 years old in 8th grade attending Lakota Ridge Jr School. I am a year long high honors student. I am a third generation racer in my family. I am following in my dad’s footsteps. (Ray Hannah)

This is my 8th year racing. I started racing gokarts. I raced them for 6 years, racing both dirt and asphalt. Then I moved up into MiniCups. This is my 3rd year racing a minicup. Last year I finished 4th in my local points, and 12th in the national points. We raced at Kil-Kare Speedway, in Xenia OH, The Sportsdrome Speedway, in Jefferson IN, Nashville Speedway, in Nashville TN, Beech Bend Speedway, in Bowling Green KY, Mt. Lawn Speedway, in New Castle IN, and Jackson Speedway, in Jackson MI. I only raced at Mt. Lawn Speedway and Jackson Speedway one time, and at both tracks I set fast time challenged for the win.

This year we are planning on running at Kil-Kare Speedway and Mt. Lawn Speedway with my minicup. New to this year I will be running a 1989 Chevy Beretta front wheel drive car at Mt. Lawn Speedway and Sportsdrome Speedway. My crew chief, Scott Fields has stepped up and volunteered to be my crew chief again for 2008. My cars owners, Steve and My Mom are also back again this year supporting me 110%

For 2008 for our minicup we are looking for sponsors for 4 news sets of tires at a cost of 800 dollars, our motor needs to be freshened at a price of 1200 dollars, and we need to purchase 2 new clutches at a price of 500 for both. But our biggest expense for the racing season is going to be fuel getting to and from the tracks.

I would like to thank my 2007 sponsors, The Auto Recyclers, Budget Tow, Doran Racing, CDS Signs, Jeff of all trades, Esquire Cleaners, RAS Limousine, Kil-Kare Speedway, Voice of America Park, Wanda’s trim shop, Grey Stone Concrete, C&N Radiators, and Schottmillers Auto Body. If you would like to sponsor me for the 2008 racing season, please contact me, Courtney Hannah Racing at 1-513-777-6646 or call Steve at 1-513-563-4000

Thank you,

Courtney Hannah.

11/22/07: Happy Thanksgiving.

11/15/07: Today I got a hair cut. I got about 5 inches cut off. It's really short now. I like it.

10/27-28/07: Today we drove up to Salem for the for the Tricker Treat 200. We made it up there on Saturday to get in the gates after practice. We drove the mopeds around for a while, then went out to dinner with the people we were with. The next day we got up early so we could set the car up. The race was very interesting. There was a whole bunch of cautions. And only one red flag. overall we gave out a lot of literature about minicups.

10/20/07: Today was the IKO banquet. We left my house around 2 and went down on the river and ate. Then we went to the banquet hall and set up. We unloaded the trophy's, set the tables, set everything up, and put the body together. I hung out with all my racing friends. I had a awesome time. It was pretty sad though because some of them are moving up, and I wont get to see them anymore. But I got three awards. I got my fourth Place award, A car show award for showing my car in car shows, and the One and only Spirit award. It was for all that I do behind the scenes for IKO. I was happy with myself. I also won the 50 50. I can't wait for next years racing season!

10/13-14/07: This weekend Steve, my Mom, and I went down to Winchester for the Winchester 400. Saturday when we got there we pushed the car in the infield to show it. and watched a couple races. After the races were over we went back and grilled out and sat by the fire for a little while. Then we went back to the hotel. So on Sunday we got there, and loaded up some things, and went in the grandstands to watch the race. After the race was over we pushed the car back to the trailer. we got stopped by a bunch of people wanting to look at the car. We handed out a whole lot of books. Overall it was a pretty fun weekend.

10/6/07: Yesterday we drove up to Jackson Michigan to race today. It was a very good weekend. When we got there, we unloaded the car, and scoped out the track. When it came to practicing, there was only one other car out there, and me. I passed him early in the practice. But, with about 3 more laps to go in the practice, another car came out, but I didn't get to see how fast he was. So, for the second practice, it was only me and that one other person again. So, in qualifying I thought I was pretty fast. But I got second by three tenths of a second. In the heat I started second. Me and the faster car got together a little bit and supn out. But we ended up getting back to the front, but I ended up second. So, in the feature I started second again. I got out front quick. and led about half the race. But he got around me again. but I got back around him again. But then he got back around me. I would of gotten back around him, but he was blocking me. So, coming around for the chechard I pinched it down really low and got underneath him. I enede up losing the race by three feet. But I thought I did awesome for it being my first time there. I was also one thenth off from breaking the track record. but overall I recall liked the track. they were really nice there. and i'm hoping to go back more next year.

9/29/07: The money race went great. I did alright in the Future Stars race. But I didn't get any money. But in the Open race, I got 50 dollars. Steve was saying that I was the fastest Future Stars car out there. But I don't think so.

9/28/07: Today Scott came down from Munci to work on the car. We had to clean it from Mt. Lawn, fix the cradle, clean the hyme joints, and the front bearings, re squared it. We just had to do alot of work on it. But we got it done about 9. I am ready for the money race tomorrow at the SportsDrome.

9/22/07: Today I raced at Mt. Lawn Speedway for the first time. It was a pretty good day. The track is very hard to learn. It is shapped like a baseball field. So, kind of weird. In practice I was pretty fast. So, then qualifying,I qualified fastest. I was so happy because I got the fast time over 5 other older men that had raced there a whold bunch before. Well, in the heat I started on the pole. When the green flag dropped I took off. On lap four, I was about 20 car length away from everybody. I was so happy because it was a 6 lap heat, and I thought I was going to win my first race. But on lap four, two of the cars behind me spun, so we had a caution. So, coming around turn four, for the green flag, my car wouldn't go. It was very hard to turn too. So, the track workers pushed me into the pits. I got out, and Scott said that the cradle broke. Steve said that he was glad that the caution happened, because if it didn't I would of wrecked really bad. And maybe of gotten hurt. But he also said that he wasn't glad that the caution happened because it costed me the win. But I would rather give up my first win, over wrecking the car badly and getting hurt. So, with the help of a whole buch of people, we got it fixed. We were thrashing to fix it in time for the feature. The only hard part was putting the washers in it. But we got it fixed. The cars were already on the track. They waited 10 laps for me to come out. But when I went to start the car, it wouldn't start. So we had to jump it. But I got out just in time. I started on the pole again because I finished last. So, when I got out there, the flag man said one to go till green. So when we came around for the green, usually flagmen throw the green inbetween the last turn and the line, but he didn't so I thought he thought it was a bad start, so I didn't press the gas. But he threw it wnen the cars were about 5 feet infront of the line. So, I wasn't ready for that. So, some of the cars passed me. I settled into third, and was trying to work my way around the second place car. But I didn't quite get around him, So I had to settle for third. I thought it was a great night overall, for it being my first time at the track, and getting fast time, and nearly winning the heat. I am hoping to go back for many races next year.

9/16/07: Today, Steve and I went up to Winchester. But on our way up, we stopped at camedm to see all our old gokart friends. We were there for about 20 minutes. Then we left. Then we were on our way to Munci, to go to Scotts house to get my frontwheel drive car. After we got that, we were finially on our way to Winchester. They were running Compacts, and Street Stocks. There was at 75- 1500 to win Compact race and a 200- 5000 to win Street Stock race. In the Compact race, we were with Tim Dill. And in the Street Stocks, we were with Winston Wood, and a couple other people. So, over all it was a good day.

9/15/07: Today I raced at Kil-Kare. Overall it was a very good day. In practice I was a little quick, but as the day went on I got faster. So, I qualified 5th out of 10. So, I started on the tale of the first heat. I finished 5 too. So, in the feature, I started 5th again. I was running a good race, I was up with kyle. I passed him a couple times, but he passed me back. My car was cutting out, so, he pulled away from me a couple car lengths. So, I had to settle with 5th. I also ran the open race. Thanks to the Webbs, we put an open carborator on. I was running pretty good. I was up with all the other future stars that had an open carborator on. I finially cought up with kyle. We kept going back and fourth and back and fourth. Everybody thought that one of us was going to spin the other out. But we didnt. I ended up finishing 5th, again, but it was infront of kyle. After the race was over, I took Mary Daniels Baby Grand out on the big track for about 10 laps. It is a strait shift. It is a bit bigger than minicups. I got into the high 17's. But steve told me to come in, cause they were running high 14's, so he thought I was going fast enough.

9/5/07: Well, all weekend, us and a whole bunch of other people were at Winchester. For the stock car festival. We all had a good time. We left here at 9 on saturday morning, we took Jesses FWD car up in our trailer, along with a whole bunch of other things. Saturday was practice, Jess had a really fast car. He was like second fastest. So, then after practice, we set everything up, like 3 tents and corn hole, and a fire. It was a funn night. And we set off some of our whole bunch of fireworks. Then we mad smores and sat around the fire. Then we went back to the hotel. So then Sunday, was qualifying for some classes. And also some heats. Jess had a heat that day, he finished third. Very good. But the first palce persong got DQ'ed, so he finished second. Earlier that day, Steve introduced me to one of my dads old racing friends. John Wood, and his son Winston. He was racing that day. So, after all the heats, and features, we went back to the trailer, and grilled out, and John and his son came over, and we lit off fireworks all night. And we went to a little party too. But then we went back to the hotel. So, Monday came, and all so did all the features. Jess did good agin. He finshed 3rd again. So, overall it was a really good weekend. I didnt want to leave, but we had to. I'm looking foward to going back up there in October!!

8/26/07: I raced at Anderson Speedway. Which is a 33 degree banked track. I was nervous the first time out. But I had a really fast time. So, in qualifying, out of 16 cars, i qualified 5th. I was so happy. For it being my first time at the track. So, in the heat, I started in the fourth row, outside. I had made my way up to 4th i think, but then this person that I had passes already, thought he could pass me. so, going into turn one, he got into me, and made me swirve, he messed up the toe really bad, but joey had passed me, so i finished 5th in the heat. So, in the feature, I started 5th. I had made my way up to 4th. And i was all over the 3rd place car, but we only got 15 laps in our feature, but if I would of had a couple more laps, I would of passed him. But, overall, it was a really good night! Anderson is now my favorite track.

8/26/07: Sorry for the long wait. Well, last week, I raced at Kil-Kare. On both Saturday and Sunday. Well, on Saturday, I was running good. In the feature, I was all over the 5th place person. I had passed him once, but he got back around me. but I passed him again, and he was going to pass me back comming out of 4, and he clipped me a little, and spun me around. So, I got sent to the tale, but i worked my way back up to 6th, so thats where i finished. So, on Sunday, we only ran features. I qualified like 7th. But I got up to 6th. Once again, I was all over the 5th place car. And we were battling it out for 5th. But at the end, we were side bye side. But he got the position. So, I got 6th again.

8/5/07: Well, yesterday was good, real good. I was running real good times. In my heat, I started on the pole. I got a good lead when the green was thrown, but somebody spun out. So, on the restart, I didnt get a good stat. So, number 15 got around me. So, I has to settle for second. So, in the feature they inverted 4, so, I started on the pole again. So, on the start, I led the first lap, but then kyle and bret got around me. So, going into turn one, joey got under me, and comming out of turn two, he drifted up two much and I got into the wall, and kept going hiting it. So, I pulled around to let steve look at it, and he said that I was done. I bent a tyrod and we think I broke a spindle. But, its almost fixed.

7/27/07: Well, this past weekend we raced at the Sportsdrome. In practice, I was doing good. But I was fighting it in the middle of the corner. So, we loosened it up a little, and it was good. But we decided to take a tooth off. So, in the heat, I started 3rd out of 5 and finished 3rd. So, in the feature, I started 6th out of 9. I had a good race going. But the kid behind me got around me and pulled away about a car length. But then we both passed another person. So I was running 5th. Thats where I finished. Everybody said they were proud of me. They said that it was the best race that I have ever ran. When I pulled off the track, they say that I had a big grin on my face.

7/11/07: Okay, well my race at the Sportsdrome went good. I was doing good in practice. But my car was only pulling 3/4 of the straightway. So we took a tooth off the gear. And that helped a little bit. So in the heat, I started 4th. and I finished 4rd. so, in the feature, I started 7th, and I finished 6th. I was gradually catching the kidd that was in front of me, but I didnt have enough to catch him. So I had to settle for 6th. But at the end of the day, Mr. Peters came up to me and told me that, that night was the best that he had ever seen me run. So, I was happy.

7/6/07: Okay, my vacation was so funn! Me, my mom, Steve and my cousin Jayme went. We went out to dinner every night, at seafood restaurants, which i hate! And we did a whole bunch of funn things! We played putt putt at a Tiki place, We went to this go-kart place, where i did good, we went on a banana thing. And my cousin fell off. We spent most of our tme in the ocean. I learned how to boogy board. It is really funn! We found lots of shells. And got really really really sunburned! But overall, it was a really really really good vacation!

7/6/07: Well i'm so sorry for the update. My computer's internet has beend down for about a week. And then when it started working we went to MMRA's nationals. Then after that, we went to Mertyle Beach for a couple days. Okay, well the race on friday, at Bowling Green, I was doing good in the practice, then it started to rain. They waited about an hour, but then they called it. So we left and drove to Nashville. So on satruday, I was also doing okay, in practice. But then we started to have problems with the radios. I could still hear steve, but he couldnt hear me. So, in qualifying, i qualified 11th out of 16. Not to bad for it only being my second time at that track. So on came the feature. It started out good, but then my radio died, so i could no longer hear steve. There were about 7 wrecks, that I avoided by my self. I was making process. And by the end of the race, i was 8th. Not to bad at all.

6/2/07: Today My Mom, Steve, and me are going to Florance to watch a big latemodle dirt race. I havnt been to a dirt race in forever. I'm so excited. I started out on Dirt. Thats where I won my first race.

6/1/07: Today was my last day of school!! Im so excited!

5/26/07: Todoay Steve, my mom, and I went to the Frank Kimmel Enduro Race. We know this guy, Dave Ellis, that raced in it. He was running good, 16th out of like 15, but then on lap 75, his motor blew.

5/25/07: Sorry for the long wait. My last race, at Kil-Kare, I finished 2nd in the first heat, 3rd in the second heat, and 5th in the fifty lap feature.

5/17/07: Well we have been working on the front wheel drive car to get it ready for me to run it after the race at Kil-Kare on Saturday. Scott has the trailer in Indiana with him, and we will take it home with us after saturday because we will have a month until our next race.

5/17/07: Well Steve has been out of the hospital now for about two weeks. He is feeling fine and eating good for his surgery to come.

5/6/07: Today Kyle and I went to Kings Island. We were there all day. We met up with some of our other friends. We rode about 13 rides. It was a fun day. It was the perfect weather. I had on my big sunglasses and the sun was out. So when I got home I had a big sunburn around my eyes where my glasses were. So now I have racoon eyes.

5/5/07: Today me and my softball team had a tournament. We won our first game 4-1. Then our second game, we were playing the toughest team in the league, mason white. In the top of the fifth ennign and we were winning 2-0. It had started sprinkling a little bit in the third enning. So it started to poor. So the game was posponed and my team and the other team went into the rec center to wait for the rain to pass. Then we were in there for about 30 minutes and they called it off because the field was to wet to play. So for some reason my team, out of about 13 other teams, won the whole tournament. I dont know how, but we did! And im glad!

5/2/07: I visited with Steve today. He is doing well. Tomorrow, in the morning, he is having an angeogram. That will decide if and what they need to do with his heart.

5/1/07: Today I played my softball game agnist Loveland. We won 13 to 3. Now our reccord is 11-2. Tomorrow I have a game agnist Nagle. And then on Saturday I have a tournment. Hopefully we win. Then our last game is on Monday. Go Ridge Softball.

4/26/07: Today I spend the day with Steve at the hospita. He is doing well. He is hoping to get out in a cople days. Then he is comming back in a couple weeks for his surgey.

4/29/07: Yesterdays race went really well. I started 9th in the feature and I finished 2nd. That was my best finish ever in my mini-cup. I would like to thank everybody that helped me get to the track yesterday, and everybody that just plain helped me.

4/26/07: I am planning on racing this weekend at the Sportsdrome. My team is minus one member this weekend. Unfortunally Steve is in the hospital, but my crew chief Scott with the help of Jess, we will race hard and fast. Steve is in the hospital having some tests done for his upcomming heart sugrey.

4/21/07: Well today was kind of a good day for us. We started out really good. We practiced, and I got spun out. The car was running the best it had ever run. I was rinning in the high 14's. So then I had my heat. They split the future stars up into two groups. I was in the second one, starting last. The flag man threw the green flag and steve came on the radio and told me not to tear up the car, so I let all the cars pass me. Then I cought back up to them and passed the third and second place cars. I was catching up to the leader-joey-. But the flagman threw the checkard. I finished second. But if I had had about five more laps, I would of passed Joey. So featre time came. I started fourth, out of 12. I was runnig good for about 7 laps. I was on the inside of Kyle, who started on the inside on me, and passing him!( that is a really happy thing for me because we were running really bad all year last year, and Kyle was like winning all the races) So comming off of turn 4, I had just gotten clear of Kyle, when a kid behind me spun me out. I did a complete turn and they sent me to the tale. The flagman threw the green again and I was kinda of mad, but I knew that I had the motor to pass back everybody that was behind me before. So with about one lap in after the caution I felt something draging on the car. I got on the radio and told Steve. He said that it was probably marbles that had gotten stuck on the car when I spun out. He told me not to worry about it. After about 5 more laps I still felt it, steve came on the radio and told me to come around to the top of the big track beacuse I had a flat, left rear tire. When I spun out something had gotten stuck in my tire and was making it go flat. I sat on the backstrech for about 5 laps because Steve told me that I couldnt come in the pits for scott to change the tire till a caution. Well a caution came out about 5 laps later and I drove in the pits for the tire to get changed. By the time I got back on the track I was about 10 laps down. I was really mad because I had a good motor and a good run for once and I thought that I could finish in the top five. When I got back on the track, Joey and a kid named Dalton Wilson got together and Dalton filpped two and a half times. But he was ok. The crew went to check him out when there was a red flag. Scott came out and told me that it was ok, and it happens to people. He told me that I was one of the fastest cars out there. So We used this race as a practice race. I passed the same cars a bunch of time. So in the long run I finished 10th. When I got out of the car and cooled off I went and looked at my tire, there was a big hole in it. We dont know what it was caused by but we knew that it was something. But luckley I told steve about the draging noise because he said that he couldnt tell and he would of never figured it out. But at the end of the day we knew that we had a fast car, and we knew that next weekend at the sportsdrome I will finish in the top five. We know that I will do good now that we have out motor problems sorted out.

11/14/06: Well this past weekend i had the Salem Speedway banquet. I had to hand out the Ray Hannah award(my dad)and for the first time i had to make the speech all by my self...(I dont like talking in front of big crowds)...so i was kinda nervous.

11/14/06: Sorry for the long wait. There has been alot goin on. Two weekends ago we went to Nashville Tennessee for the MMRA banquet. I finihed 13th out of i think 21 people.Which is good for me!

10/3/06: Sorry for the long wait again. Well I had my banquet for the mini-cup with IKO last night. I finished 4th in points so I got a really tall trophy. And I also was awarded the sportsmanship/sportswomanship award. It was alot of fun and I am looking foward to racing next year.

10/3/06: ATENTION ALL SPONSORS...WE ARE LOOKING FOR A SPONSOR TO BUY US A MOTORHOME SO IT WILL BE EAISER TO TRAVEL.

10/3/06: Sorry for the wait. The last I raced was at camdem with OVKA. This was my LAST go-kart race EVER =(. Well in the first heat i started first and I finished third. In the second hear I started last and finished third again. So i the feature I started third and finished third.

9/23/06: Well i race the next 3 weekwnds in a row. I was supposed to race at the Sportsdrome next weekend but they got fludded so we postponed out money race till the weekend after.

9/17/06: I raced at Circleville with OVKA. Well in the first heat I started 1st and well.....I finished last bacause on the 2nd lap my spark plug cap came off. And in the 2nd heat i started last and i finished 3rd. So in the 3rd heat I started 3rd and I was running with the lead pack but i didnt have enough to pass them so I finished 3rd for the day.

9/10/06: Well sorry for the wait. Well not that much has been going on. I havent raced in a couple weeks. But school is going great and im making lots of new people! So stay tuned for the 8/25-26/06: well I leftupdates from my go-kart race this weekend in coloumbus.

school on thursday to go to North Carolina. It was an 8 hour trip. I was even linger cause my brother Rick came and he wouldnt stop anoying me.

Well on the 25th i Qualified. We were having Motor problems so we Qualified 2nd to last.

Well it was race day nad the 76 car came over and offered me their spare motor. So we took it and i did a whole lot better than we thought I would. So a big thanks to the 76 car and all of his team!!!

8/24/06: Well today was my first day if school! I met a whole lot of new people:: Jake, Toni,Emmi, Andrew,,and a whole lot of other people. Im lookin foward to a good school year!

8/18/06: Today I had a race with my go-kart. Well...It didnt go very well. So in the first heat I started 4th and finished 4th out of 5. In the second heat I started 1st and finished 3rd out of 5. And in the feature I started 3rd and finished 4th. Well all day we were struggling with motor problems and trying to find the right gear.

8/18/06: Yesterday Steve And I worked all day on my go-kart. We had to swich motors, and change the gear ,and cleean it. We also took the mini-cup to the car wash to clean it because a couple days ago we took the motor out and sent it back to Extreme because it wasnt running good at all. Also today my brother, my uncle tom and myself are going up to the go-kart track and practicing for our race tomorrow!!!

8/13/06: Yesterday wasnt a good day at all!!! Well in the heat I started 3rd and on the first lap on the back strech I passed the car for first!! It was my first time leading in a Mini-Cup!! Well I was leading for about 3 laps then a car passed me so i passed him again going in the turn 1. I as under him and then he came down on me and made me swerve everywhere. So there was 3 laps to go and in 1 lap I went from 1st to 2nd to last and i finished there to. Well in the feature I started 11th. But the motor wasnt running good at all. So... the whole field lapped me like 2 times. So I finished 12th I think out of 14.

8/10/06: Well we didnt get to go to Kil-Kare today because 1. Scott didnt have the car done and 2. Because it rained. So hopefully we will find the right gear on saturday during the 2 hour practice!!

8/8/06: This is an another update because people keep calling him and asking how I'm doing. Well I'm doing fine!!! My neck still hurts a little but I will be fine!! My car is With my Crew Chief being fixed so I can race this weekend!! I am also planing on peacticing at Kil-Kare on Thursday. And to all of OVKA(go-kart) friends that were planing on comming to watch me race this weekwnd I am Still going to race so please come and see me race!!!!

8/7/06: Today I called Steve and asked him if he could call Scott(My crew chief) and ask him if he could buy a disposible camera to take pictures of the car from the wreck to put on my pictures page.

8/6/06: Yesterday I had a race at the Jeffersonville Sportsdrome and it was one of the worst racing days I have ever had!! Well the first part of the day sterted out good. In the heat I started 6th out of 7 and I finished 5th. So for the feature I started 9th? and well I was exiting turns 3 and 4, where in the middle of those turns I went around a spunout car and after I was clear of him the car behind me accidentley spun me out. I was backwords on the front straitaway, and a car hit me head on about 50-60 mph. they rushed the ambulance out to me and they thought I had back and neck problems so they told me not to move an inch so they took about half the car apart to get me out. Well they put me in the ambulance and checked over all of my body. They said I was PROBABLY safe and they said I should take me to the hospital but it was up to my mom. So it ended up with them taking me to the hospital but I was fine but today my back . neck and my right shoulder hurt. Well the car is in Muncie In. with my crew chief. The front of the car is REALLY!! smashed so hopefully it will be done in time for me to race this weekend at Kil-Kare!!

7/30/06: Today I had a race at Circleville Race Way Park?? in Circleville(Columbus) Ohio. Well in the first heat I didn't do to well. I started 3rd out of 5 and finished 4th. You may not think that, that was bad but my motor was bogging down in almost every turn. For the second heat we changed gears because I started 2nd but in the race the motor was bogging down AGAIN but I finished 3rd. So for the feature we did something to the carberater and thet change made me run alot better!! but when the race was almost over my motor started to die. But overall I finished 3rd for the day!!

7/23/06: Today myself and two of my racing friends (Alec Webb and Kyle Baugh)went to a water park behind the hotel I stayed at. It was fun and hopefully we can do it again after the next race!!

7/22/06: Today I had a race at the Sportsdrome and in the first heat I finished 7th out of 8. The reason I have been doing so bad is because on the 4th of July I drove my car in a parade and I burned up my new clutch and we thought the parade did something to the motor. So in the feature I finished 9th out of 16. But luckley after the race was over my crew chief, Mr. Webb, and someone with the Presnells looked at my carberator and the found a problem with a gasket and they both said thet that would slow me down!! So hopefully next race I will go faster and finish better!!

7/20/06: Today I spent all day with Steve. I worked on making the placks for the race in saturday. It took me 2 hours to put all the stickers on them!!! I had to do 2 owners placks, two 1st, 2nd,and 3rd place ones and 14 TOP TENS. We also are putting a picture of my mini coup on the sides of the trailer to replace the go kart one.

7/19/06: Today I got a hair cut. I got like 4 inches cut off!!! But I like it!!

7/8/06: Today was a BIG day! Well to start things off I had a go-kart race in New Castle In. so I only got to race the first race then we had to leave from there and go to the Sportsdrome and race. So in the first feature I started 6th and finished 8th and in the secind feature I finished 9th and I would of finished better but comming out of turn 4 the 53 spun me out. But after the race he came over and said he was sorry and I told him thet it was just a racing accident.

7/3/06: After my race in Nashville we went to a hotel and stayed the night(in Nashville). The neat day we went to this big mall called Opary Mills?? and ate lunch in a aquirum resturant. in the middle if the resturant it had a 25 thousand gallon fish tank that had gians fish in it and a bunch if sharks. After we ate, Steve went back to the hotel and got our trailer while my mom and I went to a place where you could touch sting rays. My mom liked the feel of them but I was so afraid to touch one. My mom made me and they were so slimy!!! They were DISGUSTING!!

7/2/06: Steve my Mom and myself left our hotel this morning to head to Nashville. I qualified 10th out of 21 mini cups and started 10th in the feature. In the feature i was running good but one lap this car hit me and knocked the front end out of my car and i was struggling turning left and then on lap 34(how funny) I was going under another girl in turns 3 and 4 and she came down on me and spun me out. Bur overall I finished 10th and that isnt too bad for it being my first time at the Music City Motorplex.

7/1/06: Well for my first MMRA race I think I did pretty good. Well I qualifed 13th out of 20 mini cups and in the feature I started 13th and finished 12th. Not so bad for it being my first race at Beech Bend Raceway Park.
